Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Columbus, Ohio! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our warehouse operations. The Material Handler is responsible for handling, moving, and tracking materials throughout the facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. This role is fundamental to our supply chain and logistics network, demanding diligence and a strong focus on safety .
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move materials within the warehouse, including loading and unloading.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and record data accurately.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and organized to optimize space and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area, adhering to all company standards.
- Properly utilize required PPE at all times.
- Support other warehouse functions and team members as directed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Capability to handle substantial lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules.
- Adherence to all workplace safety regulations and use of PPE .
- Successful completion of a background check and drug test.
