We are looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics and supply chain operations, contributing to the efficient handling and movement of goods within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you will be expected to rigorously follow all Safety protocols and wear the mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items, often weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. We value individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure that operations run smoothly and that deadlines are met. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against orders.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using scanning devices.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the distribution center's logistics.
- Perform regular Lifting and moving of various warehouse materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, pallet jacks, and scanning equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellent attendance.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
- Understanding of logistics operations is a plus.
