We are looking for a motivated Material Handler to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in the movement and organization of materials throughout our warehouse, supporting our extensive logistics network. This position involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping various goods. You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are handled with care and efficiency to maintain inventory accuracy and meet customer demands. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items, often weighing up to 50 pounds. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially other material handling equipment. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all Safety standards and utilize required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
- Perform consistent Lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and physical Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and basic warehouse equipment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements.
- Willingness to contribute to efficient logistics.
