Join our vibrant team as an Order Picker in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are a fast-paced logistics and distribution center looking for energetic individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a strong focus on safety. You will navigate the warehouse using a pick list or scanning device, locate the specified items, and prepare them for shipment. This is a physically demanding position that requires consistent movement and adherence to productivity targets. We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. - Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Meet or exceed established picking quotas and productivity goals.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Capable of consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
