As the QC Micro Team Lead, you will guide a skilled microbiology team while ensuring the highest standards of product quality and regulatory play a central role in shaping processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting both team development and operational excellence.

Your new role Lead, mentor and develop QC Micro staff, ensuring strong performance and growth opportunities.
Implement and optimise methods, procedures, and testing strategies.
Communicate departmental objectives, metrics, and quality expectations.
Drive improvements in production methods, equipment, workflows, and compliance systems.
Oversee timely evaluation of complaints and returned products.
Initiate and support audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed effectively.
Provide input into quality reports, proposals, and business opportunities.
Contribute to budget planning and apply cost-control initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed 5+ years' experience in a QC Micro role, including 3+ years in pharma.
1-2 years' experience in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
Level 8 degree in Microbiology or related discipline.
Ability to work onsite in Cork.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
