What is the role? The successful candidate will work as part of the Process Development team to develop, improve and implement new processes and technologies used to manufacture Aerogen products within the Shannon facility. The candidate will have a data-driven mindset and problem-solving ability to identify creative and innovative solutions, and will embrace change while working collaboratively with others.
Key responsibilities- Support introduction of innovative new processes and equipment to support Aerogen product portfolio and process optimization.
- Support process and equipment validations including DV, URS, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, PPQ protocol development, implementation, and report completion to timelines.
- Troubleshooting of equipment and process issues utilizing lean troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and design methodologies.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation in clear and concise terms in accordance with good engineering practice.
- Work within team environment to develop and introduce new manufacturing processes.
- Be involved in continuous improvements to how the PD team operates.
- Perform other assigned tasks as directed by Manager or Head of Function.
- 0-2 years engineering experience in the Medical Device / Regulated industries.
- Minimum of a primary degree (Level 8) in an Engineering or Technical Discipline
- Technical Mindset: Proven ability to grasp technical concepts.
- Data analysis: Experience in using statistical methods and problem solving tools.
- Collaboration: Effective communication and interpersonal skills; written, verbal and presentation.
- Planning and Organisation: Good organizational, and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
