Financial Controller

We are currently partnering with a High-Growth Engineering & Construction business based in Tipperary (Nenagh) that has grown significantly over the past few years and has a strong pipeline of projects domestically and across Europe.

This newly created role will take full ownership of the Finance Function, currently being managed in-house and work closely with the MD on strategic aspects of the business as they continue to grow.

The role will ideally suit someone who wants to get a hands on role in a fast growing company where they can take full ownership of a Finance function while also providing commercial insights to the MD & Senior Leadership.

• Managing the day-to-day finance function
  
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including KPI reports for directors
  
• Completion of annual budgets & forecasts
  
• Reviewing project costing, margins and profitability
  
• Supporting tenders, pricing and commercial decisions
  
• Strengthening financial controls and systems as the business grows
  
• Managing Cashflow, Banking and VAT returns
  
• Oversee AP, AR & Payroll
  
• Year-end Audit
  
• Ongoing development xcfaprz and review internal controls and processes

• Qualified Accountant
  
• Experience managing Finance Function in a SME/Growing Business
  
• Strong commercial mindset and cashflow management experience
  
• Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or other project-based environments would be a beneficial
