The Trauma Informed Behaviour Therapist will work as an integral part of the Multidisciplinary Therapeutic Support Team, supporting our children and young people to achieve their potential in all areas of their lives.

Working within a Model of Therapeutic Support that is informed by Developmental Trauma / Neurosequential Model / Trauma Informed-Positive Behaviour Support, the role of the Trauma Informed Behaviour Therapist will include: participating in the completion and development of comprehensive attachment-oriented and trauma-informed functional behavioural assessments and trauma informed behaviour support plans for children and young people; contributing to the development of holistic, clinical formulations to facilitate the provision of effective support; consulting and collaborating with social care teams in our homes to provide on-site support, assessment, training and advice to colleagues; measuring and monitoring outcomes using data to support and inform care planning.
Requirements: A recognised qualification in Behavioural Therapy (e.g.
Masters in ABA) with a minimum of 2 years experience either acquired as part of qualification or post-qualification.
At least 2 years relevant experience in a behaviour support role, working with children and young people who present with a wide range of complex clinical difficulties.
Experience conducting functional behavioural assessments and developing behaviour support plans for children and young people.
Experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team-based environment.
Highly motivated with excellent planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (TUSLA) Excellent IT skills Ability to work independently and manage busy caseloads. xcfaprz
Applicant must have a full, clean divers license and access to personal transport Individual and/or Group Supervision is provided in-house and will meet the requirements for those pursuing either BCBA/Chartered Behavioural Psychologist Status.
