As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will identify complex design problems, conduct root-cause failure analyses, and anticipate production issues. You will also develop innovative design solutions, evaluate options, conduct tests, and implement solutions to meet timing, product cost and reliability targets.

Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities:
· Instruct and assist employees on the shop floor
· Produce documentation to support production, sales and the end user
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Keep department supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress, related to work assignments
· Create, maintain, and enforce a safe and efficient work environment
· Improve product design by identifying and implementing possible product and/or process improvements
· Deductive Reasoning: The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers
· Inductive Reasoning: The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
· Solid understanding of mechanical principles and equipment operation
· Ability to read technical drawings
· Good troubleshooting skills/root cause analysis for problem solving
· Ability to communicate information in one-on-one situations to supervisors and managers of the organization
· Specific knowledge of SolidWorks EPDM, ERP-Epicor, SQL databases, computer networking and Excel techniques
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred
· Experience with 3D modeling software preferably SolidWorks
· Experience maintaining BOM routings in ERP preferably Epicor

· Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle and feel objects, tools, or control
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on computer
· Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
· Regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds (25), and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
Working Conditions:
· Manufacturing environment
· Daily exposure to hot, cold, dusty, noisy environment
· Occasional to frequent outdoor work
· Potential to work at different area workstations to meet production needs
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
· Safety glasses
· Safety-toed shoes
· Hearing protection
· Face shields as needed
· Other PPE as required
