Full time available, but would accept PRN or Part time including travelers/temps! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. Perks include guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling, all holidays off and more! In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work closely with pediatric patients in a preschool setting. Your expertise will help improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
* Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to facilitate improvement.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
* Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Educate patients and families about communication disorders and strategies for improvement.
* Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
*Skills*
* Strong understanding of patient care principles.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
* Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
* Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments effectively.
* Experience with early intervention strategies for pediatric patients.
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
* Ability to work effectively in school settings as well as clinical environments.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
