A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced AML Consultant / Manager to join their Transfer Agency team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a key technical role focused on AML/KYC oversight, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of operational procedures.

You will act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) within a high-performing consultancy-style team, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and providing guidance on AML-related technical queries.

• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, updating procedures and informing the team as needed.
• Review, maintain, and roll out updated policies and procedures in line with compliance standards.
• Provide guidance on complex AML/KYC queries and technical escalations.
• Support operational excellence within a growing Centre of Excellence model.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple locations to drive process consistency and compliance.

• Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and regulatory frameworks relevant to funds/transfer agency operations.
• Ability to interpret regulatory changes and implement operational updates effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience as a consultant or technical SME within financial services or the funds industry.
• Depth of technical expertise and subject‑matter knowledge is highly valued.

• This role has no direct people management responsibilities.
