Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled nurse with expertise in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to work evenings at a well-established medical center in Osage, IA. This contract position offers a consistent schedule from Monday through Friday, ideal for those seeking a stable workweek without call duties.

Schedule/Hours:

• Eveningshift, 8 hours per day
• 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
• No call requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment
• Monitor patient status throughout surgical operations
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe and efficient care
• Facilitate equipment setup and troubleshooting during surgeries
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Current nursing license with experience in Operating Room Technology
• Ability to operate and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to work effectively within a team
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical center setting preferred
