Position Available: Swine Production Supervisor Trainer
Iowa | Reports To: Operations Manager

About the Role

The Swine Production Supervisor Trainer provides operational and leadership development support for Swine Production Supervisors across the Iowa/Illinois region. This role ensures that Production Supervisors are trained to consistently execute employee safety, animal care, biosecurity, facility management, and swine production practices in alignment with The HANOR Way and HANOR Production Practices (HPP). The Trainer achieves results by modeling expectations, conducting farm visits, and providing structured coaching, feedback, and accountability tools to supervisors and caretakers.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum one year of successful Swine Production Supervisor experience preferred.
• Prior training, coaching, or leadership development experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of swine production systems, animal husbandry, and biosecurity best practices.
• Proven ability to coach and train supervisors and caretakers effectively.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic farm reporting systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to model The HANOR Way values in training and daily interactions.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
