Wound Care Provider

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Provider (MD, DO or PA) to join our team.

Prior experience a plus but the physicians of the practice would be willing to train the right candidate.

Contractor position with flexible work hours. Partnership opportunity available.

Responsibilities include:

Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic wounds. Including minor surgical procedures and supervision of hyperbaric oxygen treatments.

Regular rounding at the full spectrum of facilities: acute care hospitals, long-term acute care, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities.

Outpatient clinic appointments for wound care.

Educating patients, families, caretakers and nursing staff regarding wound treatment, wound prevention.

Requirements:

Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Nevada.

Local travel, in the greater Las Vegas area.

Ability to communicate verbally and written, with patients, family and staff.

Commitment to best practice medical care.
