Job Description This full-time position is exclusively for Oracle interns from the 2025 cohort who are looking to transition into permanent roles. This role is intended for students graduating with their Master's or PhD degree by, or who have graduated within, 12 months of the cohort start date in June/July 2026. Target Start Date:
early June or mid-July 2026 As a Data Scientist, you will design, develop, and implement innovative methods and systems that analyze diverse and unstructured big data sources to derive actionable insights and enhance client services and products. You will collaborate closely with product and service teams to pinpoint critical questions and issues for data analysis and experimental design. Your responsibilities will include developing and coding software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from various sources. You will discover meaningful insights from extensive data and metadata sources, interpreting and communicating findings to product, service, and business managers. Minimum Qualifications: Graduated or will graduate with a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering Management, Information Systems Management, Business Analytics, or a related science/engineering field by August 2026. Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, JavaScript, R, PHP, Swift, Go, C#, Matlab, Julia, or Kotlin. Have relevant academic coursework, projects, internships, or research experience in areas like: Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Natural Language Processing Big Data / Data Structures / Algorithms Cloud Computing Computer Systems / Distributed Systems / Embedded Systems / Operating Systems Database Systems/Design Object-Oriented Design Web/Mobile Development User Interface Design Must attend a university in the US. Authorized to work in the US in 2026. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum GPA of 3.0 Responsibilities: You will work closely with product and service teams to identify crucial questions and data analysis problems. Your coding skills will be essential in developing software programs, algorithms, and processes to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets. You will leverage your analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and communicate your findings effectively to various stakeholders. Salary Information: The hiring range for this position is $69,000 to $158,200 annually, potentially including bonuses and equity.
