Sales Engineer

Here’s a great opportunity to step into a sales engineering position, contributing your expertise in technical solutions and project management. This role offers the chance to build meaningful connections with clients and work alongside an experienced engineering team on cutting‑edge projects.

As Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for driving the sales of bespoke technical systems and solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, manage project implementation, and regularly engage with both new and existing customers. The role involves direct client interaction, a mix of technical detail, and active involvement with cross‑functional teams.

• Promote and sell specialised technical systems and solutions.
  
• Identify client needs, develop tailored solution proposals, and deliver quotations in collaboration with engineers.
  
• Oversee and implement various customer projects.
  
• Liaise frequently with internal engineering teams for project delivery.
  
• Gather and communicate technical requirements and deliverables for each project.
  
• Meet with customers to understand requirements and explore new business opportunities.
  
• Attend industry events to grow your network and generate leads.
  
• (Optional) Utilise programming/commissioning/support skills, if applicable.
  

• 
  
• HETAC Level 8 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or similar).
  
• At least 5 years of experience in technical sales or a customer‑facing engineering role.
  
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills.
  
• Background in industrial image processing.
  
• Knowledge of robotics, MedTech, or mechanical engineering is a plus.
  
• Confident communicator who is self‑driven, resilient, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  
• Full driver’s licence and your own car.
