Applications are invited for two temporary posts of a Team Lead (Microsoft Implementation Project) within UCD IT Services. UCD IT Services is responsible for the design, development, implementation, management and support of a wide range of IT solutions and services to support staff, students and researchers in their work for the University. The University Management Team has taken a strategic decision to migrate its community of around 35,000 student and 5,000 staff users from Google Workspace to Microsoft. IT Services (and specifically the Enterprise Applications Group) has been tasked with managing this change.


The Microsoft migration project commenced in Summer 2025 and will run for around 22 months. The scope of the project includes mail, calendar, file storage, and office productivity and collaboration tools. In addition, the project will include the implementation of MFA for students. We are looking to recruit a number of team members to take the lead in relation to various strands of the overall programme of work. The successful appointees will work in our Enterprise Applications Group as part of the overall Microsoft implementation project team.


Salary Scale: €72,030 - €84,170 Per Annum. Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines. Closing date and time: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 23 March 2026.
