Are you a skilled technician with a passion for maintaining operational excellence? We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to ensure the smooth and safe functioning of our warehouse equipment and facilities. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our logistics operations, preventing downtime, and ensuring a secure working environment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and other material handling equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and responding to emergency repair needs will be part of your daily routine. A strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems is crucial. You will also be involved in maintaining the physical warehouse structure, addressing minor repairs, and ensuring all safety features are operational. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to strictly follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team. Experience in a similar industrial or warehouse maintenance role is highly preferred. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain and logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
- Ensure all safety guards and features on machinery are functioning correctly.
- Operate safely and adhere to all established safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics flow through timely equipment servicing.
