Position OverviewThe IT Network Engineer at Spotless Brands ("Company") serves as the primary technical owner of our enterprise network architecture across all car wash locations, data centers, cloud services and corporate offices. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and operating a highly available, scalable, and cost-effective network that supports Point-Of-Sale systems, wash equipment, IoT devices, video systems, guest Wi-Fi, and corporate applications.This is a hands-on, design-authority role. You will define standards, lead network strategy, and be the escalation point for complex network issues in a geographically distributed, business-critical environment where uptime directly impacts revenue. This role will support our cyber security capabilities and partner with vendors to ensure data and mobile career performance and availability.This role will be the leader for delivering network services and join an exciting, growing company. You will make a difference in our business and we will invest in you to grow your career!Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Architecture and DeploymentDesign, implement, and support LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless networks across corporate and retail locationsConfigure and maintain routing, switching, VLAN segmentation, and WAN connectivitySupport onboarding and integration of newly acquired locationsImplement scalable network designs aligned with Spotless Brands' growth strategyRetail and Field Network SupportEnsure reliable connectivity for POS systems, payment processing, tunnel controllers, license plate recognition, video and IoT water monitoring devicesSupport retail uptime requirements and minimize business disruptionWork with Field IT teams and vendors to deploy network infrastructure at new and existing sitesCloud and Hybrid NetworkingSupport Azure networking including VNets, VPN Gateway, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivityMaintain secure connectivity between on-premise infrastructure and Azure cloud servicesSupport SaaS integrations and secure internet access for distributed locationsNetwork SecurityConfigure and manage firewall platformsImplement network segmentation, VPN access, and secure remote connectivitySupport cybersecurity initiatives aligned with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and PCI requirementsAssist with vulnerability remediation and incident responseOperations and MonitoringMonitor network performance, availability, and reliability across all sitesTroubleshoot and resolve network outages, latency issues, and connectivity failuresMaintain network diagrams, configurations, and documentationParticipate in on-call support rotationVendor and Project SupportWork with ISPs, managed service providers, and hardware vendorsSupport infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration initiatives, and SD-WAN rolloutParticipate in technology evaluation and architecture planningEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)5–10 years of enterprise network engineering experienceExperience supporting distributed, multi-site environmentsStrong experience with routing, switching, and firewall configurationExperience with enterprise wireless networksExperience with VPN technologies and secure remote connectivityExperience supporting Azure or hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience with Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Cisco, or Sonicwall networking platformsExperience with Azure networking (VNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute)Experience supporting retail or distributed operational environmentsExperience with SD-WAN solutionsNetwork automation experience using PowerShell or PythonIndustry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AZ-700, NSE, or equivalentGood organization, time management, and prioritization skillsExcellent reasoning, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsStrong attention to detailPhysical RequirementsAbility to work at a computer for extended periods of timeOccasional travel to field sites or business locations as required; travel less than 10%May require occasional extended hours during system updates or incident resolutionThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) in this position.
