Job Summary The Enterprise Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role in collaborating with account teams to assess and transform customer data center environments through customized infrastructure solutions that meet specific business goals. Your responsibilities will include building robust technical partnerships with OEMs, delivering training to sales teams and customers, managing the solution practice pipeline, and engaging with various stakeholders to highlight technology opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services. This is a remote position; however, candidates should reside in close proximity to New Jersey, New York City, or Philadelphia to meet business needs as determined by SHI management. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with account teams to understand and evaluate customer data center environments and technologies. Design and propose customized infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives. Build and maintain strong technical relationships with OEMs, staying updated on the latest product developments. Deliver training and technical education to sales teams and customers. Serve as a trusted IT advisor, partnering with Field Account Executives. Manage the solution practice pipeline by formulating strategies for top prospects and pursuing new business opportunities. Identify and explore technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services. Develop solutions that cater to customer needs and budgets through strategic planning. Engage multiple layers of client contacts, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for thorough account management. Educate and empower sales teams on technical selling, product training, services, and emerging technology trends.

Relationship Building: Seek opportunities to expand networks and foster collaborations to enhance team cohesion. Documentation: Establish comprehensive documentation standards to support operational efficiency. Results Orientation: Set challenging goals for teams and lead them in achieving outstanding results.
Skill Level Requirements:
Intermediate experience with complex Data Center sales opportunities. Intermediate ability to design data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud and automation solutions. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and automation tools. Intermediate capability to communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value propositions. Intermediate expertise in mainstream technologies such as Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, and cloud providers. Intermediate experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions.
Other Requirements:
A completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events. Preferred advanced certifications in one or more mainstream technologies.
The base salary range for this position is $112,000 - $182,000. On-target earnings, including base salary and bonuses, are estimated between $160,000 and $260,000. Compensation depends on individual job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
