Über
Welcome and assist customers in line with Hollywood Feed's exceptional service standards. Exhibit extensive knowledge of our products to meet the needs of pets and their owners. Maintain respectful communication with supervisors and colleagues. Work independently and collaboratively as an essential team member. Unpack and properly stock incoming product deliveries. Gain proficiency in utilizing the Hollywood Feed point-of-sale system, including:
Opening and closing registers. Creating customer accounts. Processing customer transactions. Conducting inventory management tasks like cycle counts.
Engage in all scheduled Hollywood Feed training sessions. Carry out routine store maintenance such as cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, setting up displays, and updating prices. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
A true commitment to the well-being of animals and their owners is essential. Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities. Demonstrated customer service and sales competencies. Product knowledge or a willingness to learn quickly. Capable of operating or learning the point-of-sale system. A valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience (including learner's permit period).
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Must be 18 years or older. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead and stock shelves frequently. Capable of bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting regularly. Able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours. Able to climb ladders often to access products. Willing to comply with the Safe Driving Policy and drive company delivery vehicles when necessary.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00/hr. to $19/hr. Hollywood Feed is an Equal Opportunity Workplace.
