Platform Engineer

I am looking to speak with Platform Engineers with experience designing, building, and optimising AWS cloud-native platforms. This role focuses on infrastructure as code, serverless applications, CI/CD automation, and cloud platform performance, providing a hands‑on opportunity to shape scalable, secure, and highly available systems. You’ll work closely with internal customers and cross‑functional teams to modernise cloud operations, improve deployments, and implement best‑practice cloud solutions. This is a hybrid role with a 3 day onsite expectation.

• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily CloudFormation
  
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS‑native technologies
  
• Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and tools
  
• Add new features and optimisations to the cloud platform
  
• Implement monitoring solutions and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve cloud usage and operational practices
  
• Contribute to security, cost optimisation, and compliance in cloud architecture
  
• Hands‑on experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python
  
• Experience working in Agile teams with knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
  
• Understanding of risk management and operating within regulated environments

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and native platform capabilities
  
• Proven ability to implement and operate resilient, highly available, enterprise‑scale systems
  
• Expertise xcfaprz in infrastructure management and design, with a focus on security, scalability, and cost efficiency
  
• AWS Certification in DevOps, Solutions Architecture, or Development
  
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Step Functions
  
• Prior experience optimising serverless architectures and automated deployment workflow
