Sr. Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Technical Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology projects from initiation through delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of overseeing multiple projects and cross-disciplinary technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assigns tasks to and coordinates work with engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Works with multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering teams to design and plan project milestones.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Create project charters detailing project scope, background, key stakeholders, deliverables, constraints, and assumptions.
• Creates project schedules using Microsoft Planner or similar software to track progress.
• Properly manages changes to projects using an engineering change order procedure.
• Prepares proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
• Provides continuous updates and communication to company leadership and the client(s).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams, including mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineers
• Experience in robotics, controls, or manufacturing automation highly desired
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
