Our logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking a dependable Receiving Clerk. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming shipments. You will be responsible for unloading, inspecting, and verifying goods against purchase orders, ensuring that our inventory records are precise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Accuracy in this role directly impacts our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. We provide thorough training on our systems and safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming deliveries.
- Inspect all received products for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately log all incoming inventory into our tracking system.
- Label and stage incoming goods for storage or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock area.
- Communicate any issues, such as damaged goods or incorrect quantities, to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as required.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform moderate physical labor.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving position is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety standards and wear required PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
