We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our bustling logistics center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This critical role ensures the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport goods from receiving areas to storage locations and vice versa.
- Stack and organize materials in designated areas, ensuring stability and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs or issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including occasional lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and physically demanding environment.
