Overview

Are you ready to start your career in the insurance industry? As an Account Manager Associate, you'll be an essential part of our team, supporting account managers to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This entry-level role is designed to help you grow, with the opportunity to move into an Account Manager position over time.

This role will be fully in office in our Salem, OR location, but has the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule after the 1-year mark.


How you'll make an impact

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our client relationships:

  • Assist the account managers by communicating with clients, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Handle the processing of insurance policies, from gathering information to preparing applications and submitting them to underwriters.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, analyzing coverage options and collaborating with your team to create competitive solutions.
  • During renewals, you'll gather the necessary information, prepare documents, and coordinate with underwriters to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Work closely with internal departments like underwriting, claims, and finance, to help ensure smooth operations and resolve client-specific needs.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance, handling sensitive data with care.

About You
  • A bachelor's degree or a high school diploma/GED, preferred
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and processes.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in working with multiple systems and strong technology competency.
  • The ability to switch between tasks, prioritize deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
  • Proactive in asking questions while also being resourceful and independent.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
