As a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud implementation strategy within our existing IT infrastructure. This position engages with diverse challenges that span various complexities, providing opportunities for innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include executing the organization’s cloud strategy from a technical standpoint, encompassing the design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to assess cloud systems and recommend suitable solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with product managers and engineers to define specifications for new cloud-based products, services, applications, and solutions. You will also take charge of deploying cloud management platforms, monitoring their performance, and implementing enhancements. This role requires offering strategic advice to executives on significant functional matters, utilizing your independent judgment to navigate complex issues related to job duties and tasks. You will work under minimal supervision, making analytical decisions that determine the best courses of action. Leverage Your Skills to Make a Meaningful Impact Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
8+ years of progressive IT experience as a senior engineer on large IT projects.
2+ years of experience in project leadership.
Extensive hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
Strong expertise with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.
Thorough understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management.
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, notably Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS.
Passionate about enhancing the consumer experience within a collaborative environment.
Demonstrated capability in leading cloud engineering teams or projects.
Strong mentoring and guidance skills for junior engineers.
Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
Experience in implementing security controls in cloud environments.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Able to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree.
Microsoft Azure certifications.
Additional Information: To enable effective home or hybrid work, employees must ensure their home internet service meets the following criteria: a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required, with wired cable or DSL connections being preferred. Humana will provide appropriate telephone equipment to meet job requirements. Employees must maintain a dedicated workspace to prevent interruptions and protect member PHI/HIPAA information. 40 Pay Range:
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may vary based on geographic location, and individual compensation will be based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. The range is $129,300 - $177,800 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
