The key responsibilities of this
Electrical Applications Engineer
include, but are not limited to: Technical support for design and process engineering Collaborate with tool design to create test fixtures Design and build new equipment based on organizational requirements Integrate COTS (commercial off the shelf) and custom components to create a complete test solution Develop software solutions to operate equipment including recipe management, test runtimes and calibration Support production departments on completed test systems at multiple manufacturing sites Location
Sidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY Salary: $62,354 - $85,000
The Person
The key skills and qualities of an
Electrical Applications Engineer
at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Ideal candidate would be a ME/EE combination 3 to 5 years' experience in test engineering preferred Project planning and development MS Office Visual Studio (VB,C++), LABView or similar programming experience Mechanical and Electrical design Relational Databases such as SQL Basic network fundamentals Daily bending, sitting, typing, lifting, and standing required Limited travel to Mesa and Nogales (Mexico) locations (10 - 15%)
