We are looking for Two Apprentice Lift Engineer's to join our Repairs/Maintenance team in Dublin. As an Apprentice Lift Engineer you will work with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer. This is a full-time position.

What you need to be successful
  • To complete a 4 year Electrical apprenticeship, supported through a structured in-house development programme in conjunction with SOLAS.
  • To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development in the lift industry
  • Attend SOLAS and complete course work on time and to a high standard
  • Assist and liaise with Managers / Supervisors on relevant work activities
  • Understand and apply the electrical principles associated with lift installation and lift maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance in all Health and Safety practices in current legislation

Requirements

To be successfully shortlisted for the apprentice scheme you must:

  • Be qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard
    • This must include five passes in the Leaving Certificate (Maths and English must be two of these)
  • Submit an Ishihara colour vision test – it must be on the SOLAS form
  • Ideally hold a Full Clean Irish Driving Licence - you will need Commercial Use Car Insurance Cover on your vehicle used for business travel.
