The role will involve working on Emerson DeltaV and other control platforms to support automation projects, system lifecycle activities, and production operations within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and support automation systems using Emerson DeltaV and other DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms.
  • Support the full automation lifecycle including system design, configuration, testing, commissioning and ongoing operational support.
  • Develop automation documentation including functional design specifications, test protocols and system configuration documentation.
  • Participate in system testing activities including FAT, SAT, IQ and OQ.
  • Support manufacturing operations through troubleshooting and root cause investigation of automation system issues.
  • Work closely with operations, validation and engineering teams to ensure compliant system delivery.
  • Provide on-call or production support where required for critical automation systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the automation environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Emerson DeltaV or other distributed control systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems used in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting automation lifecycle activities including commissioning and qualification.
  • Understanding of GMP environments and validation processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work on client sites.
