We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing financial services organisation based in Sandyford to appoint a Project Accountant on a 9-month contract.

This role will support a range of finance transformation, process improvement and standardisation initiatives. Working closely with the Financial Controller and collaborating across finance, data, IT and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in modernising processes, strengthening controls and enhancing reporting capability.

Key Responsibilities

Process Automation & Systems Support



  • Support the transition from manual finance processes (e.g. invoicing and reconciliations) to more automated and streamlined solutions.
  • Map, document and enhance existing finance workflows.
  • Collaborate with finance, IT and data teams to design, test and implement improved systems and tools.
  • Develop guidance materials and support training as new processes are rolled out.

Data & Reporting Support

  • Assist in gathering and documenting requirements for enhanced financial and operational reporting.
  • Support data mapping, data validation and migration activities.
  • Contribute to the development of improved management reporting outputs in collaboration with BI and data teams.
  • Support the enhancement and standardisation of reconciliation processes.
  • Assist with testing and validating updated controls and procedures.
  • Document reconciliation frameworks to strengthen governance and consistency.

Group & Cross-Functional Project Support

  • Coordinate finance-related inputs into wider transformation and systems initiatives.
  • Prepare clear documentation and stakeholder updates.
  • Support local implementation activities linked to broader programmes.

Standardisation Across Business Units

  • Review financial processes to identify duplication and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and roll‑out of standard operating procedures.
  • Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of updated processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in project‑based finance roles with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong experience with finance systems, ERP platforms and reporting/BI tools.
  • Experience in automation, data migration and systems change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment. xcfaprz
