Estimator Project Manager

Job Description

Golden Bay Fence plus Iron Works, Inc. in Stockton, CA is currently seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager in our Stockton office. The ideal candidate should be experienced in cost estimation, project management and have a thorough understanding of the commercial fencing industry processes and materials. Knowledge of Commercial Fencing is required.

The goal of the Estimator/Project Manager is to accurately predict project costs and successfully manage projects from conception to completion. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing project requirements, identifying cost efficient solutions, and managing project resources
• Communicating/Coordinating with office staff, field personnel, customers, owners, vendors, and subcontractors
• Overseeing project scheduling, materials ordering from bidding through project completion
• Oversee contract administration and quality assurance
• Monitor project progress and provide monthly progress billing figures
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards and regulations
• Manage project resources efficiently and ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Manage project from start to finish, ensuring that it stays within projected budget and timeline

Requirements:

• Proven track record as an Estimator/Project Manager within the industry
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints and technical documents
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in office and project management software
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a must

• Job Title: Estimator/ Project Manager
• Work Environment: Full-time office setting with frequent visits to construction sites. Some travel may be required for site inspections, job walks or client meetings.
• Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the President, Vice President and Corporate Secretary
• Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Weekly pay period.
