We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee and manage various warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations and smooth logistics. Your responsibilities will include coordinating staff, managing inventory levels, optimizing storage space, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of goods, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring the accuracy of all warehouse records. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. We expect all team members to utilize the provided PPE diligently.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipment processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space.
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed and promote a culture of safety.
- Manage the procurement and use of necessary PPE and warehouse supplies.
- Train new warehouse personnel on procedures and safety protocols.
- Liaise with logistics providers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring proper PPE usage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
