Are you a motivated individual looking for a fast-paced role in our Salt Lake City, Utah warehouse? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our dedicated logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for ensuring that our customers receive precisely what they ordered, contributing directly to our reputation for excellent service. You will utilize handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to locate products, verify item numbers and quantities, and prepare orders for the packing and shipping stages. This position requires significant physical activity, including extensive walking throughout the warehouse, bending, reaching, and lifting items that can weigh up to 50 lbs. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes and vests, is mandatory. Experience in a warehouse environment and familiarity with order picking processes is advantageous, but we are eager to train enthusiastic candidates who are ready to contribute. You'll be part of a supportive team focused on efficient logistics and operational excellence. A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Notify supervisors of any stock discrepancies or low stock levels.
- Stage picked orders for packers and shippers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks or other lifting devices safely as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team atmosphere.
