Financial Director

Sector: Global, publicly listed multinational

A leading global, publicly listed organisation headquartered in Ireland is seeking a Finance Director to join its senior finance leadership team.

• Oversee quarterly external reporting for a US-listed entity
• Prepare and review monthly consolidated group management reporting
• Act as a technical accounting authority, providing guidance across the business on complex accounting matters
• Assess and lead the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes
• Operate within, and continuously enhance, a robust SOX control environment
• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, tax, legal, treasury, IT, and operations
• Drive continuous improvement in group reporting processes, systems, and controls
• Support M&A activity, including acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration
• Oversee statutory reporting and act as a key contact for external auditors
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing group accounting team

• Qualified ACA / xcfaprz ACCA (or equivalent) with 8+ years post-qualification experience
• Strong background in group financial reporting within a multinational environment
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Experience working in multinational organisations
• Proven ability to operate at senior stakeholder and executive level
