Life Manager

Our client is recruiting a Life Manager to join its Actuarial team within Financial Services. The position offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-impact actuarial and advisory projects.

This role provides excellent exposure to diverse actuarial assignments and the chance to build strong technical and client-facing capabilities while working alongside experienced professionals.

• Contribute to projects relating to IFRS17 implementation, Appointed Actuary work, actuarial valuation, pricing and product development
• Work on actuarial modelling assignments and the design of valuation and Asset Liability Management (ALM) frameworks
• Support Merger & Acquisition (M&A) projects and due diligence reviews
• Perform evaluations in areas relating to financial risk, product distribution and capital management
• Utilise advanced financial modelling approaches and systems
• Contribute to wider actuarial and financial services initiatives as required

• Experience within a life actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firm
• Qualified with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of Australia xcfaprz
• Good knowledge of Prophet software
• Experience in Data & Analytics, Gen AI/Machine Learning, and Open Source coding
• Knowledge of IFRS17 and/or Solvency II reporting frameworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
