Our Huntsville, Alabama facility is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our growing logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a sharp eye for detail to ensure the correct products and quantities are picked, minimizing errors and contributing to customer satisfaction. You'll be working with order slips or using scanning technology to navigate the warehouse and retrieve items efficiently. Depending on operational needs, you may also operate equipment such as pallet jacks. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is crucial for efficient workflow and safety. Strict adherence to all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position involves frequent physical activity, including lifting and moving products up to 50 lbs. We are seeking motivated individuals who are team players and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use scanning devices or pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Ensure correct item codes and quantities are selected.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, if required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
- Participate in inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
