Are you an energetic and detail-oriented individual looking for a role in our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves using various picking methods and equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders promptly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from shelves according to pick lists or scanner prompts.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Ensure the accuracy of items picked and quantities ordered.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all warehouse safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and fulfillment goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product numbers accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be capable of frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
