We are hiring a reliable Warehouse Worker for our facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, involving the movement, organization, and processing of goods within the warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all assigned tasks, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to completing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation.
