We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to operate our reach trucks safely and efficiently within our bustling warehouse environment. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal inventory flow and ensuring timely order fulfillment. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for moving, stacking, and retrieving materials at various heights, ensuring accurate placement and minimizing product damage. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system information.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve team goals.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as trained and required.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
