We are hiring an Order Picker for our distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are key to ensuring timely shipment and customer satisfaction within our logistics network. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify product information against order requirements.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks or carts to transport picked items.
- Perform quality checks on picked items for accuracy and condition.
- Stage orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Perform manual Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Support overall logistics operations through efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and/or use handheld scanners.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Experience with manual Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, including PPE requirements.
- Reliable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
