Über

We are looking for a thorough part-time Maintenance Technician with the responsibility to preserve the condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC repairs, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and repairing flooring, plumbing, sinks ,cabinets, painting, kitchens, bathrooms, electrical etc. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition, perform rehabs to update older properties, and complete truns for new property listings and incoming tenants.
*Responsibilities*
* Complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner
* Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, repair or replace faulty switches and receptacles, etc.
* Assist in the maintenance of furnace and Central Air systems and conduct repairs when necessary
* Maintain heating and air systems to ensure functionality
* Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
* Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
* Perform plumbing repairs, auger drains, replace pipes when necessary, install toilets, and troubleshoot leaks, etc,
* Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
* Complete turns on properties to prepare for upcoming showing and incoming tenants
* Repair and hang drywall as needed*, *paint and tocuh up walls as neeed
* Clean out gutters
*Skills*
* Proven experience as maintenance technician
* Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. EPA certificate is a plus.
* Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
* Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
* Good physical condition and strength
* High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
* Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired but not required.
* Bonuses available related to company profits for house rehabs and upgrades
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
* Property maintenance: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
* Driver's License (Required)
* EPA Certification (Required)
* Electrical License (Preferred)
* Plumbing License (Preferred)
* HVAC Certification (Preferred)
