As the Repair Supervisor for Dyson in Ireland, you’ll lead a team of three, driving the performance and efficiency of our Service Workshop in Rathcoole. You'll deliver against repair KPIs aligned with global standards, including Turnaround time, First-time-Fix, repair completion rate, Repair Ease, and NPS. Your responsibilities include people management, operational excellence, parts and budget control, and a relentless drive for quality and customer experience.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver a world‑class repair experience.
- Supervise and lead daily repair operations, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of all repair demand against all agreed KPIs.
- Work closely with the team to ensure targets are met, proactively solve output problems and improve processes.
- Be the lead contact for external suppliers and internal stakeholders (supply‑chain & finance partners) to ensure the fulfilment of spare parts for repairs, replacement equipment and office supplies.
- Monitor and control consumable stock levels, parts forecasting, and onboarding new parts for new products.
- Ensure all part orders and POs are raised and managed on time, in line with regional process, maintaining quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Manage budget and PO requirements within guidelines set by the Finance BP.
- Keep the skills matrix current—build team flexibility for the variation in daily repairs.
- Evaluate production equipment and set workload priorities for maximum efficiency.
- Use data to measure KPIs and guide decision‑making.
- Build strong on‑site relationships.
- Manage, coach, and develop your direct reports (3).
- Set and deliver on team and department targets, ensuring HR best practice.
- Own all training and development: maintain up‑to‑date SOPs, training records, and compliance with new standards (including H&S).
- Carry out regular 1:1s and structured performance reviews (quarterly & yearly).
- Conduct timely and relevant team meetings, communicating clearly with your team.
- Anticipate, manage, and resolve employee‑relations issues with a root‑cause mindset.
- Deliver operational excellence.
- Embed health & safety procedures and keep risk assessments current.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate department policies and procedures.
- Go beyond the expected.
- Take on activities that align with your purpose, even outside your immediate remit.
- Proactively fix issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify problems, find root causes, and deliver solutions.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Proven track record in implementing lean/process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to drive efficiencies in an operational/service environment.
- Team supervision, leadership, and coaching experience.
- Highly organised, process‑driven, and able to work efficiently with changing priorities.
- Team player, relationship builder, and able to motivate direct reports.
