FP&A / Reporting Accountant

We are hiring an FP&A / Reporting Accountant for our clients in Tralee, County Kerry. You will join the finance team of a large nationwide retail group operating across Ireland, backed by a multinational parent company. This role offers strong exposure to group reporting standards, best practice processes, and commercial performance within a collaborative, hands‑on environment. You will deliver accurate, timely financial information while enhancing automation, efficiency, and analytical value across reporting processes. This is a permanent position, based in Tralee.

• 
  
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs for local and group stakeholders
  
• Deliver clear variance analysis, trend commentary, and performance insights
  
• Support benchmarking and KPI tracking
  
• Coordinate month‑end close, including journals (accruals, stock, intercompany) and balance sheet reconciliations
  
• Maintain ledger integrity and controlled reporting outputs
  
• Partner with Procurement on rebate accounting
  
• Complete balance sheet reconciliation
  
• Support AP/AR reporting where needed
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting liaison
  
• Drive improvements to reporting to make it more automated, efficient and aligned to best practice
  

• 
  
• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
  
• Strong understanding of financial statements and management reporting
  
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills
  
• Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems / reporting tools
