Room Leader

First Steps Creche, Silversprings. (T23RY89) is a small full day care service dedicated to providing a high-quality educational experience for children in our care.

Position: We are seeking a caring and passionate leader to join our team.

• Care for a group of 6 toddlers.
• As Room leader you will be responsible for the day to day organising and planning of the daily activities, to meet the needs of this age group.
• Have the ability to implement quality early childhood curriculum & creative skills to develop age-appropriate activities underpinned by Aistear and Siolta.
• Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children.
• Have a good knowledge and understanding, and the ability to follow TUSLA regulations.

• Minimum Level 6 QQI Early Childhood Care and Education qualification (Level 7/8 desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing and caring approach to supporting the children.
