Senior Architect

My client are a leading architectural firm based in Dublin, renowned for their innovative designs and commitment to excellence. They specialise in a wide range of projects, including large‑scale residential developments, pharmaceutical facilities, data centres, and large commercial/office fit‑outs. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Architect to join their dynamic team and contribute to our growing portfolio of projects.

• Lead Design Projects: Oversee the design and development of large‑scale architectural projects, including apartments, housing estates, pharma facilities, data centres, and commercial/office fit‑outs.
  
• Project Management: Manage all phases of architectural projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  
• Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative design solutions.
  
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  
• Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  
• Quality Control: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that designs are executed to the highest standard.
  
• Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles into all projects, promoting energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
  
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects in housing, pharma, data centres, and commercial fit‑outs.
  
• Licensure: Registered Architect with the RIAI or equivalent.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously with a strong understanding of project timelines, budgets, and resource management.
  
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate with clients.
