Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a balance of field and office work, overseeing geotechnical construction projects . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in construction management software. This role requires effective planning, communication and time management abilities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, within budgets and in accordance with established quality standards. This position reports to the Operations Manager and President and collaborates closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Project Planning and Coordination is crucial.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Utilize construction management software for project tracking and documentation.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat,
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance on the construction site.
• Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate resources effectively to optimize productivity.
• Oversee the preparation of construction estimates and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting of costs.
• Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
• Travel is required and a vehicle allowance is awarded.

Qualifications

• 3  years minimum experience in at Project Manger Role
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills for estimating project costs accurately.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and motivation.
• Familiarity with contract negotiation and compliance within the construction sector is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and property needs.
