Looking for a mission-driven Mid-Level Network Engineer with an active DoD Secret Clearance and Security+ certification to join our team at AMERICAN SYSTEMS! You will be providing critical real-time monitoring, analysis, and support to National Priority network environments. Responsibilities: Support network sustainability at the ANG Base in Columbus, OH the U.S. to support network modernization efforts. Install, configure, cut over, test, and validate Cisco, Avaya, and Juniper-based network solutions, including routers, switches, and security appliances. Collaborate with base personnel to isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues. Ensure full and accurate cutover of mission-critical network functionality. Update engineering documentation, diagrams, and site reports to produce complete and accurate as-built packages. Qualifications: Active DoD Secret security clearance Demonstrated experience conducting network equipment installations and cutovers. Bachelors Degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 12 years of relevant experience Security+ certification required Networking certifications to include at least one of the following: Cisco CCNA, Avaya ASTA, Juniper JNCIA (current). Willingness to travel when required (CONUS). Willingness to support a 24/7 shift rotation environment. Pay Transparency Statement: AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $94,400.00/Yr. - USD $157,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
