About the Role
As a
Payloads Design Engineer (Associate)
, you will play a vital role in designing and supporting interior systems that enhance aircraft functionality, safety, and passenger experience. Working with a highly skilled engineering team, you will help develop and integrate payload systems such as stow bins, closets, partitions, and interior structural components. From early design concepts to production and certification, your work will help deliver world-class aircraft interiors to customers worldwide.

Monday - Friday | First Shift | 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at :
$65.21 per hour
What You'll Do
In this exciting engineering role, you will support the full product lifecycle of aircraft interior systems by:
Assisting in the development, integration, and documentation of
structural and interior payload system requirements
Supporting
testing and validation activities
to ensure systems meet design specifications and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with suppliers to monitor
performance, testing, and production activities
Providing engineering support on the
production floor during first-of or complex builds
Developing and improving
design and analysis processes and tools
to enhance engineering efficiency and quality
Investigating
emerging technologies
and contributing ideas for future aircraft interior designs
Creating and maintaining
3D payload system and component designs
using advanced CAD tools
Working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams to deliver successful outcomes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree
in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution
5+ years of related work experience
(or equivalent combination of education and experience)
5+ years of experience with 3D modeling tools
, such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, SketchUp, Pro-E, or 3DX
Experience working within
cross-functional engineering and production teams
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, design, and engineering release processes
Strong
problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to meet
project timelines and delivery deadlines
Understanding of
FAA Title 14 Part 25 regulations and/or EASA equivalents

Pay Details:
$65.21 per hour
