Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Location:
North Carolina (onsite expectations)
Pay Range:
$60-$70/hr
What's the Job?
Partner with internal IT teams to review and enhance security architectures across various infrastructure components.
Evaluate technical controls and interpret regulatory policies into effective security solutions.
Provide technical guidance on security controls such as encryption, cipher selection, and key rotation approaches.
Collaborate with security groups to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and introduce new security protocols.
Conduct research and development activities related to security technologies, including proof of concepts and evaluation criteria.
What's Needed?
Broad technical fluency in networking, engineering, cloud, and database environments.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
Experience reviewing security architectures and evaluating technical controls.
Knowledge of security protocols, encryption methods, and regulatory compliance standards.
Ability to engage deeply with cross-functional teams and provide strategic security guidance.
